How the MPitS Framework supports a Purpose Driven IM Curriculum

I believe that the My Place in the Story Framework can act as a powerful guide in terms of design for the units that we are planning for:

This sort of planning tool forces us to consider ourselves and also the world around us, not just in terms of what we know but how we make meaning from that and the actions that are inspired. This way of thinking is the embodiment of International Mindedness. It naturally involves the elements of the learner profile but a chance exists to enable more explicit reflections in this regard:
